When the iPhone first came out everyone was disappointed that custom ringtone support was not available, inluding me, I prefer to use theme songs from my youth or favorite movies on my iPhone 3GS, and the easiest route to custom ringtones I know is with iTunes Music Store, technically $1.98 per ringtone.

But the iTunes Music Store isn't the only way to get custom ring tones onto your iPhone. For people who want to make ringtones from music they already own, or from music they have created themselves, or for people who may object to the fact that a 30-second snippet of a song costs twice as much as the entire song from the iTunes Music Store, there are other options.

We'll show you how to take the music you already own and turn it into iPhone ringtones.

This is a quick and easy tutorial to make your own custom ringtones for iPhone.

What we need is

Step 1. Download and install Wondershare iPhone Ringtone Maker.



Step 2. Import files
Click "import content " to import your favorite Video/Music/CD Music/Recorded sounds from your local computer or double click the files you want to make as iPhone Ringtone.

Step 3. Edit iPhone Ringtone
